WOW! What A Show!

We having been getting thru the long days with laughter.

Bob has been telling everyone to remember to have fun because it's just a stupid opera.

But let me be the first to tell you that this opera is a FEAST FOR THE SENSES, too.

One of my favorite moments is one that the audience doesn't get to share with those of us backstage.

When Charles is onstage as the Bus Driver giving that gorgeous speech, the rest of the cast is behind the curtain in a glowing blue light- some chorus still on the Spaceship, some Dancers changed into their curtain call costumes, with Einstein (Jenny or Antoine) being conducted by Michael Reisman.

Jokin's tutor took us to the game tonight.

I think I might love Ann Arbor.

The Campus Inn and the Power Center will be our homes away from home for the next few weeks while Einstein On The Beach rehearses and eventually previews in front of an audience.

I think we got lucky because there is no snow on the ground, but I have my comfy Pillow Cougar boots just in case.
